Ralph Eugene Meatyard's work was the inspiration for this mentor photography project. Meatyard, born in 1925, created images with an eerie feeling of discomfort. Many of his photos portray young children behind frightening and strange looking masks. The inspired work shown uses Meatyard's techniques such as motion blur, grain, and high contrast to achieve the uneasy vintage look on each photo.
